Reveal the Mystery

Just before night becomes day, I saw this beautiful cinematic quality of place before me and captured this image. The quality of the blue sky against the glow of the yellow street light reminds me of a movie set.

There are sights we see everyday that can jump out because of the quality of light, time of day or time of year that can create a whole new magical experience that changes the ordinary into another realm.

What are your thoughts ? I’m very interested in your comments.

There is a bit of the mysterious here, eh? Just what is coming through that tunnel, anyway? And how reassuring to know, there really is light at the other end of it!

Yesterday in my blog I wrote about your posting in my “Heart of Fire.” This is what I said … “I like the way the light comes from behind the image, “Heart of Fire,” - my eyes keep being drawn in. I think the quality of light is very similar to Susan Elkin’s “Tunnel I” which is featured on Susan Elkin’s Blog today. The vibrancy and mystery of the light from under the tunnel is related to the ambiguity of radiance in this image.”

I always think there is a movie set - a magical otherworld - right under the bridge. Thank you for sharing this with us!

I was told by someone who viewed my Night Light series that there was a strong cinematic style to my photography.
