Today I met with another woman photographer.  We spent two hours sharing stories about photography experiences, parts of our lives - we seemed to have much in common.  I felt we had a good connection and plan to continue our new friendship.

One chilling wintry day I looked outside the window to the enclosed glass paneled front porch and saw the panels appear to be concaved and contain “eye-like” formations on the glass panes. I asked Diane to stand where she is to create a wildly mysterious human effect.

On Main Street, of my hometown, is this abandoned storefront that I found interesting to photograph. I was captured by the concept of beauty in contrast to its unattractive appearance.
