I realize it’s been a while since I last posted - but here I am to share with all of you that today I created my very first treasury in the Interior Design Team. My experience was excitement as I viewed so many talented artist’s images. Those images are what I used for making my treasury. It’s quite an opportunity to see other artist’s work, get to know them and make selections that create a theme or not a theme. It’s whatever one wants to do. I hope to create another treasury soon. I can see I could really get into it.

On Saturday I was to meet with my first potential person for my Young Dad’s with Children Portrait series. I was excited about meeting him but it didn’t occur. I’m hoping to contact other sources to help me be in contact with young dads who may be interested in being part of this portrait sequence. This is an idea I’ve had for a while. The idea is in it’s infancy stage so there’s not yet much to report. As other opportunities unfold in making this project a reality I will keep you posted.

Diane and I had tea/coffee with our very wonderful friends Jacqueline and Jean Claude. We so much enjoy their humor, wit and friendship. As Diane and I were driving to their home there was a tarantula rain storm that was so strong that I needed to pull my car off into the breakdown lane. I just couldn’t see because of the heavy rains that pounded against the windshield. Also the cars ahead were barely visible. After a few moments I started driving on the highway. The rain seemed to lighten its weight slightly. Finally, we safely came to the home of our friends. We had a terrific afternoon. Then it was time to leave. Jacqueline is an amazing gardner and baker. She had prepared scrumptuous scones, raisin tea cake and home made strawberry jam. Y U M M Y! Jean Claude makes the most delicious coffee - he carries with him a little timer to be sure of the coffees brewing exactness. I had two cups. After a glorious afternoon of laughter, wisdom and advice Diane and I departed with profound love and gratefulness that these two terrific people are part of our lives. Adieu.

My embracing on-line-marketing has just now become birthed. For a long time Diane has encouraged me to do this and I’ve put up barriers. Recently, Diane and I participated in a craft fair reasonably close to where we live. We took almost everything we have that was ready for displaying and selling. Many, many and many items were brought down two flights of stairs and mathematically placed in our small hatchback car. Now we’re ready to drive to our ultimate craft fair destination. Luckily, we were able to park right by the booth. I unloaded items and Diane placed our images on the two tables. At the end of a looooong very hot day and not selling enough that would buy a dinner at our favorite Asian restaurant, we began to ‘break down’ our shop of creative imagery. Packed up the car and drove home. Our wonderful much younger than we are neighbor gleefully brought up all of our wares to the top floor. We were so grateful of her generous kindness. Thank you, Jessica!

After that day I turned to Diane and said, I want to participate in on-line-marketing - show me how, please. I’m tired of the schlepping!!

P.S. If there is a doubtful reader out there about on-line-marketing give me a shout. I’ll happy to share with you why you ought to consider it.

You can see this Rembrandt esque photograph in my Etsy Shop. It’s on SALE for another couple of days.

The other day was very misty so I took my camera and began photographing places I felt had a mysterious quality. I saw trees with mist suspended at their trunks and later birds frolicking in a small pond along the road I was traveling down. Just over the horizon mist looming about the edge of the shallow hill with a hint of blue sky above it. It all looked so magical. I took photographs and wanted to share them with you. Spring is bursting forward as winter begins to hibernate. Hope you enjoy.

On Monday I’ll meet with my writer’s group for the second time. I do have trepidations about it because we each have forwarded stories to one another for reading/critiquing purposes. I have no idea how the first scene of my screen play will be received. During the past six months I’ve tweaked and re-tweaked the various scenes many, many times.

The other day I met with one of the co-authors of “A Wrinkle in Time” (made for television version) and she felt I was on the right track. She gave me helpful feedback in creating a more smoothly readable script. After talking with her I drove home and immediately made the changes suggested.

I’m about half way through the first major draft and my goal is to have the play completely written within two months. I’m excited in starting my next writing idea which is to be a children’s television series. Just to let you know, I’ve never been short on ideas.

All of you are an inspiration to me. I deeply appreciate your taking the time in responding to what I share with you.
