Lucky Nails V
On Main Street, of my hometown, is this abandoned storefront that I found interesting to photograph. I was captured by the concept of beauty in contrast to its unattractive appearance.

The mirror reflections of the woman’s face creates an intriguing illusion of beauty which remains. As we know, there’s nothing more constant than change and one’s physical appearance will always be changing. During each stage of physical maturity, I feel beauty remains a constant, but it is not defined by Madison Avenue. Beauty is defined by the eyes of the beholder.

Susan –
This is an interesting image. I like the deep pink of the rose contrasting with the lighter, brighter pink around the mirrors. The reflected blues also add intrigue to this image for me.
It looks like a corridor of the woman with the rose – but I think those are reflections not actually more roses … I keep looking into this photograph. Thank you for sharing it with us.
