Diane’s daughter sent her mom this magnificent bouquet of flowers for Mother’s Day last year. We put them into a vase and placed them on the livingroom coffee table. The sun was streaming into the room and rested on the flowers in the foreground. It was a glorious sight to behold.

I leaped for my camera to take a photograph of the sun’s rays resting on the flower’s petals. After I shot the image, the sun’s intensity changed that caused a less dynamic portrait of the flowers. I knew the quality of light would shift quickly. I’m so happy I seized the moment of opportunity.
