The mirror reflections of the woman’s face creates an intriguing illusion of beauty which remains. As we know, there’s nothing more constant than change and one’s physical appearance will always be changing. During each stage of physical maturity, I feel beauty remains a constant, but it is not defined by Madison Avenue. Beauty is defined by the eyes of the beholder.
This beautiful image was taken as the sun was setting. I saw this painterly quality of light before me, so I hopped out of my car and carefully composed this landscape and captured this photograph. I’ve had several people purchasing this image because they were struck by its quality of light that created an illusion of it appearing to be a painting.
Just before night becomes day, I saw this beautiful cinematic quality of place before me and captured this image. The quality of the blue sky against the glow of the yellow street light reminds me of a movie set.
There are sights we see everyday that can jump out because of the quality of light, time of day or time of year that can create a whole new magical experience that changes the ordinary into another realm.

As my screenplay unfolds, Additional scenes and sewing the parts together to create a cohesive flow becomes more apparent to me. The process continues to be a most exhilirating journey. A story waiting to be told since thirty years when I met Mrs. Morrissey is now becoming a reality.
There was so much to talk about that I forgot to mention that I’m writing a screenplay entitled, “Rose”. It’s about the burgeoning friendship between a thirty year old woman and an eighty-six year old woman. It takes place in the early l970’s in Boston.
It’s an idea I’ve had for thirty years and have decided to take the plunge and write it. Initially, I found it difficult but once the process began, it took on a life of its own. In the words of director, David Lynch, “It always goes by in fragments and then the whole thing starts revealing itself.” Basically, J.K.Rowling – the Potter author- said the same thing in an interview I heard her give.
Susan Elkin welcomes you to learning about who she is now and who she is becoming. Today I’ve come to realize that ideas come in fragments and as time passes the whole thing begins to unravel, and then its entirety reveals itself. Very soon, my ideas begin to relate to each other.
